..niet minder dan 6 debatten die achter gesloten deuren plaatsvonden. Telkens stond de democratie bovenaan de agenda. Elk debat ging over één subthema dat werd omschreven door enkele vragen die zich opdrongen.
...In deze agora - dé democratische ruimte bij uitstek - gingen 12 kunstenaars in op evenveel kwesties die de democratie aanbelangen. Elke kunstenaar - de ene keer een danser of een perfomer, de andere keer een beeldend kunstenaar, acteur of auteur - trad op een ander moment aan.

Belgian designer jan gielens of spain-based aguila design has developed ‘breaking’,ie a water vehicle which responds to both economic demands and new technological advances
in the area of water sports. ‘breaking’ is known for its manoeuvrability, having the ability
to take full turns at high speeds, and can stop quickly and suddenly without overshooting,
jerking, rolling, reeling over or capsizing.

sinds 1995 komt een jaarlijks variërende groep kunstbeoefenaars, filosofen en wetenschapslui uit verschillende landen, samen in het kretenzische 'levka ori', de witte bergen, een site in een weids landschap, dat precies dezelfde karakteristieken vertoont als plato's utopische stad "magnesia".
gefascineerd door deze opvallende gelijkenis stelt levka ori.org nu de resultaten van 10 jaar creatieve ontmoetingen tentoon.
de indrukwekkende stilte van de site wordt gesuggereerd door een 16m brede foto, high definition slide-shows van pretentieloze landart creaties, grafisch vormgegeven poëzie en soundscapes, terwijl plato's ideeën omtrent autarchie te vinden zijn in 'free energy' technologieën.
met de steun van de Vlaamse Regering
